Previously, to send news, recommendations, and reflections related to security and order or to report crimes, people had to go directly to the police agency, call or make a report. However, with the development of 4.0 technology, all procedures have become more convenient. With just a few steps on the VNeID application, people can create a petition, reflect on the security and order situation or send a report of a crime to the police agency. Thanks to that, the authorities promptly receive, verify and quickly and effectively handle cases with signs of law violations, while comprehensively assessing the security and order situation in the area.
For people to use conveniently, the Provincial Police guide the 5 steps to report crimes via VNeID as follows:
Step 1: Log in to your VNeID account on your mobile phone.
Step 2: At the main interface, select "Other services".
Step 3: Select “Requests and feedback on public order and safety”, then create a new request.
Step 4: Fill in all required information. Citizens can select “Anonymous” if they want to keep their information confidential; if they have reported directly to the police, select “Request sent to the police”.
Step 5: Confirm and send the request. Citizens can track the processing status in the “Requests and feedback on public order and safety” section.
Each citizen is responsible before the law for the content of their denunciation. Acts of providing false information will be handled according to the provisions of law.
The VNeID application, also known as an electronic identification account, integrates many important information and documents such as citizen identification card (CCCD), driver's license (GPLX), vehicle registration, health insurance (BHYT), tax information, electronic household registration book... helping users save time, making it more convenient and easier to carry out administrative procedures.
To use VNeID to replace previous identification documents, users only need to download the application on Google Play or App Store, then register an account with their personal identification number (CCCD number) and their phone number.
